After running a blog, http://lacticsweatandtears.blogspot.co.uk/ for the past five years, I thought it was about time to set up a more premium space to showcase my work, as well as somewhere I could share my memories of events I’ve worked at and my thoughts on one of my biggest passions in life, athletics.
The ‘published work’ section of this site begins with pieces from April this year so as not to clutter up the website straight away, but if you’d like to read any of my work prior to then, my old blog is still accessible online.
I’m fortunate enough to work in the sport I love and get to travel to many wonderful places along the way, so TFRX (standing for Track, Field, Road and X-Country) Media is the one-stop shop for all of my work, thoughts and photos.
After a great winter, topped off with a stint working at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Poland, I have another busy summer ahead.
I’ve just returned from my second consecutive trip to the IAAF Oslo Diamond League and Bislett Games, and as ever this summer, I’ll be working at all of the British Athletics summer series events (in Birmingham, Glasgow and Birmingham) and the London Anniversary Games.
Last summer, I worked in four different countries and my longest trip this season will be in Zurich for the European Championships for a week in August.
I’d appreciate any feedback you may have on the site and please feel free to share your thoughts on the articles and blogs or get in touch to either chat or offer a testimonial…
Happy reading and running, jumping or throwing!
